Meet Tanmay Nag, the creative force behind captivating stories in Hindi cinema. Born on July 8, 1973, Tanmay transitioned from engineering to filmmaking, driven by an innate passion for storytelling. After completing his education at the University of Calcutta and an M.B.A., he left a corporate career to establish Boombaaz Entertainment.

Tanmay’s creative journey includes two Bengali poetry books, “Jibon Kheya” and “Apekkhik.” In 2022, his debut film “MANVEE” earned him the Best Debut Director award at the 11th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival.

Beyond cinema, Tanmay writes scripts for OTT platforms, with his work ‘SHAHEED’ gaining acclaim. Presently, he is working on a documentary about Women Empowerment in West Bengal’s folk play context.
